It's a little light on nitty gritty tactical discussion.Join The Warhammer Community. That said, I enjoy reddit more for modeling, painting, & rumors. Is this an active and informative community? I admittedly never spent time on the BoLS lounge. I remember Bell of Lost Souls as a source of rumors and tactics, although it strayed far too WAAC for me and seemed like the place to go if you want to hate your hobby. I'm not the biggest fan of the layout of that website though, and there's little to no breakdown of different factions so it's all just a big jumble. It used to be my go to website for overall 40k, but looks to be a bit dead.ĭakka Dakka has all but replaced LO. Librarium-Online had a good mix of catering to all races, battle reports, general 40k chatter etc. The conversions and love people have for Orks on that site is wonderous. For awhile that forum sort of died out but has had a rebirth of late. I moved on to The Waaagh since Orks became my primary army. I played a ton from 1998-2011 (brief 2012 stint) but fell out of the hobby as a result of moving, work, and declining gameplay (in my opinion) so am only now returning to the hobby.īack when I originally played marines Bolter & Chainsword was a mainstay of my browsing, but when I switched to other armies it had little further utility. otherwise, we are all just people who enjoy the game.įeel free to message the Mods with any other ideas for ground rules, otherwise have fun!
